Today, I went to this shop (i forgot the name) in Plaza Singapura and they sold like lots of Emily the Strange clothes, shirts, shoes, bags, etc.

This is the EMILY THE STRANGE logo which I took in the shop. Isn’t it sweet with lots of love? Haha.

So I walked around and I found like EMILY THE STRANGE skirts which I really loved. First, it came the price problem. It was very expensive even though there will be discounts and I thought mum won’t agree. But surprisingly, she agreed. So I went to try it on. Then, god might think that I need another punch in the face – the skirt was too big for me.

I was extremely disappointed because it was the kind of skirt that I was looking high and low for. Also, the design is very nice and cute. But since I can’t buy it because it is too big for me, I shall take pictures WEARING it. In this way, there will be memories.

Okay, I agree that I look SUCKY in that pose but the main thing is that skirt. Don’t you agree that it is so nice? It is really such a pity! And you might think that it fits me perfectly but in actual fact, it is seriously big.

So I went searching for another skirt. And god gave me another punch – the skirt is also too big for me.

This is my “second choice” but it didn’t fit me either. How sad…

Anyway, I went to YouTube and saw another SOTA Camp video. But this is us doing the peel banana dance during our campfire night. I guess the video is uploaded by Toshi (our camp instructor) because I remember him holding the camera and videw taping us. See the way Romit did the “shaking part”. How hilarious

I know I look weird. Haha.

Anyway, do look closely at the dragon boating pictures. There is water splashing around. It is so cool because from our boats, we were splashing water at another boat.

For your information, we do switch formation but I am that girl at the far left (if you are at the audience point of view). So do follow my position around. Haha.

SKIP  lesson today was very fun. We had rehearsal for our 4th June 2008 concert called “Kids Performing for Hope”. Guys out there, please go to Kids Performing Website for more infomation on the concert. Both Jane and I are involved and are performing in it. Anyway, the reason why Kids Performing put up this concert is to help raise funds for the recent China Earthquake. Some of the songs that we are going to perform is “We are the world medley” and “Heal the world”.

Overall, I was quite happy and contented with my overall percentage, bearing in mind the fact that I failed maths. The highest overall percentage for the level is 78%. I got 61%. Okay, I know my results are very far away from the top in the level. But like what I told Ying Yan the other day, I am already determined to work harder during the June Holidays.

I am seriously seriously SERIOUSLY going to work harder and study really really REALLY hard. I really want to aim to get at least the top 10% for the level in my school. For those people who saw me after the meet the parents session, you might think that I am looking sad for obvious reasons. But please bear in mind that I am NOT looking sad because of the comments from teachers. I am just faking. Haha

In fact, Dr Yeo gave good comments to my parents! Phewwww!!! Anyone who needs company to study together during the June Holidays? Haha. I actually got my results like during the morning session because I was waiting for Kimberly (R5) to finish her test before going to Chinatown to meet our parents. Nikki had finished her meet the parent session.

Therefore, I met up with her and entered Tabula Rasa. For our class, we only saw Ramsay talking to Dr Yeo, with Justine and Anisha in line. After the three of them finished their conversation with Dr Yeo/Mr Raufie, there was no one there. So Nikki and I went up to Dr Yeo and had a chat with her. I also passed up my Creative Writing Portfolio.

There, I received my results beforehand. I only saw my percentage then Kimberly called so I had to go and find her. Anyway, when mum came back to school with me in the afternoon, the talk with Dr Yeo lasted like less than 5 minutes. Fast yeah???

And I am super excited because I am having a performance at Clarke Quay tonight, around 7 to 8 something. My performance tonight will be exactly the same performance that I did at May Day Carnival 2008 @ Downtown East D’Marquee. This is like my second time I am performing this month. In fact, the previous one happened like only last week. I was lucky because after my meet the parents session yesterday, mum brought me out for some cosmetics shopping.

We bought like eye shadow, etc. for my performance use. We spent like $160++ at The Face Shop and we got the membership. Now, I also have that small “sub-membership card”. And Ying Yan had that too because I saw it the other time.

Anyway, I spent my whole Mother’s Day at Downtown East today. I was there for a performance. The JazzKids and SKIP members were there to perform. For the SKIP, only the dance group (Fluid) was there to perform. We performed the song “Hot Lunch Jam” and it was a success! Jane performed too! But she is part of JazzKids while I am part of SKIP.

I took quite a lot of photos but I might not be posting them up today. Do give me some time to arrange them and I’ll post them up soon. I think I shall end here now because I need to go and bathe and get my irritating make-up off my face. Haha.

And Nikki told me something today. Freak lah!!!

I just want to tell you all something that is very random. I want to be at least 160cm and above. I hate being stuck at this height and I want to grow taller lah! Also, I had a very fun time at Justine’s suprise birthday party yesterday. Justine was literally blind folded throughout her journey to the Botanic Gardens, where we celebrated with her. There, we did some prank calls. Krish was the mastermind.

His first “victim” was Nishok. When Nishok picked up the phone, Krish immediately pressed his nose (so that his voice will sound different). Krish then said something like, “Return me my toilet bowl! I need to pee! I know you are the one who stole my toilet bowl! Quickly return it to me!” I, Justine, Ying Yan, Nikki and Anisha burst out laughing but we tried very hard to control because Nishok can hear and it was on loudspeaker.

We even played pass the parcel and the prize was chocolate fudge. Anisha and Krish had gone mad, trying to get the chocolate fudge. After that, we went to Justine’s house and I just realised that she had moved in only 1 day ago. We went swimming and stupid Krish jumped into the pool. Suddenly, he said, “My phone is screwed! I forgot that it is in my pocket!” When he took it out, his phone has water soaking inside.

It was a little tempting for us to open it up but we didn’t because we might get electric shock. I took lots of videos and photos but I will post them up some time later because I need time to upload them into my computer.

On Friday, during Mrs Jae (our chinese teacher) period with us, Mr Jae suddenly entered with a birthday cake. It was Mrs Jae’s birthday on Friday! Most of us knew about it anyway. So when Mr Jae entered, with the cake, everyone started screaming. As he walked towards Mrs Jae, everyone took our our handphones and started taking video. We sang birthday song to Mrs Jae and she blew the candles and made a wish.

Guess what happened after that? Mr Jae actually kissed Mrs Jae on the forehead! All of us captured that on our handphones as “evidence”. Haha. Anyway, isn’t that so sweet? We even promised not to circulate the videos because…
